Anyone used HKB Sports Hub?

Specifically the model which has provisions for airbag and cruise.

Like this:

Also is it just me who is an interior Noob but the hub doesn't go over the clockspring now does it? This one seems that it could but the ones I have seen are all full backs.

I can't tell from the pic if this is the one I have. The difference is that there is a "panel" that sits under the steering wheel "horn" button that has the horn and cruise buttons.

Well 150$ for this one versus 300$ for a Work's Bell for what looks like the same thing I don't see why I should.

The only one I can find with the proper plugs is the Work's Bell short:

Versus the HKB:

Get the 90-97 Miata version. It fit the FD:

I'm using the Daikei Miata hub which is basically the same thing as the Works Hub. I'm not sure which came first to know who copied who but that particular site switched from selling the Daikei to the Works Bell a few months ago.

i just think worksbell makes great LOOKING hubs and quick releases. The HKB has those lines on them, and the worksbell is smooth, and if you get the short hub, it works out better since the quick release basically extends it more, which is bad news for me. I'm short at 5'6".

dradon,

this is the hub that I got. It's hard to see in the instructions but you can see a "button" that fits in the center part of the wheel where the horn would be. On that there are the buttons to retain the crush and the horn button. This get's hidden (in you want) with the steering wheel button cover (which I put back on mine). I can usually "feel" which button is which to activate the cruise when I am driving
