Anyone use touch up paint?

Just wanted to know who has ordered touch up paint from a Mazda dealership for the FD? I finished washing the car today only to notice a nice sized paint chip on my passenger door. I know the paint code is M8 for Montego Blue, and was thinking about calling Ray Crowe to order but wanted to know the quality and how it looked once you guys applied it.

I bought some factory paint and have done some touch-up, I have a Montego Blue Mica also. IF you take your time and do some blending, it doesn't look too bad or too noticeable. I've been checking out the Dr. Colorchip site, it seems like a better system all in all. If I was you, I'd look into this instead.

My factory silver stone metallic touch up paint matched up perfectly. I ordered two tubes from Malloy to justify the cost of shipping.

The red must be popular, they don't sell it anymore.

If you go the DR color chip route please post results.

How was the result using the touch up paint? I was looking at the Dr.Colorchip kit and it looks like pretty good results. Just trying to figure out which route I want to go.

When I did mine, I was touching up places on the nose and on the hood. The nose, being what...polyurethane or whatever? (meaning soft/flexible) did a bit better than the hood. One thing I've noticed with every little rock chip I have is...they are DEEP. The paint and primer on these FDs must be very, very 'thick', is all I can think. Because compared to American cars/trucks I've touched up, it seems the 'pits' are deeper, so it takes more paint to fill them in.
After I touched up my car, it looked like it had freckles....lol! So I did some polishing on it with some compound and it looked much better after that.
I'll take some pictures and post them later.
