anyone running a pfs smic with the greddy elbow ?

Ok so I currently have the greddy 2 piece intercooler pipe kit which consists of the greddy elbow and the second pipe that connects tot he intercooler.Ive seen pics of the intercooler installed with the stock plastic throtle body elbow but never with a greddy elbow.Im sure everyone knows where im going with this since the greddy elbow is much shorter than the stocker.Anyone have pics of thius particular setup? suggestions on what to do to make it all work are also welcome.
Thanx guys.

might as well just sell the GReddy kit, and use the stock elbow w/ the PFS.

Not a bad idea but I like the polished pipes way better.that and I managed to break off the small bung on the rear of the stock pipe.Oops.
Any other ideas besides cutting the second pipe to make it fit with the pfs?

I don't think PFS is testing or making any new parts for the RX7. He has moved onto other projects. I think you are thinking about the M2 vs. ASP new cores.

PFS is actually out of the performance business all together. Peter sold the building last I heard from a friend who used to work there I think he might be passing along any future business of that sort to Ray Wilson and Peter is making a pretty decent living selling cars from what I hear.
Anyway I had Ray weld up the pipe you need to connect the PFS IC to the greddy elbow two years ago. I do not have that set up anymore so the parts are gone but you see what you need in this pic. It has to be custom made. The improvements that you are talking about are not true. Rami must have his info wrong because PFS has been selling that same IC for years and it has never changed. They had one like you see in this pic. Then they also offered a "race" intercooler which is similar to the M2, ISP, or Pettit versions. Paul Winter had one on his Fd.. Anyway here is the pic.

Here ya go!

This is a friends FD. No custom parts needed to get you going, if you don't like using the stock accordian hose get a custom one fabbed up.

If you have the greedy pipe kit for use with the stock intercooler, you should be able to trim and rebead the end of the pipe that goes between the throttle body elbow and intercooler outlet to make it work.
