anyone know where this hose goes?

Ok There is a vac hose on the solonoid that sits just at the rear of the secondary fuel rail. The solonoid looks a whole lot like the large round boost solonoids on the stock turbos...just miniature. Right now I have that vac hose connected to nothing...looks like it may have been hooked into one of the nipples on the back of the UIM but I'm not possitive, plus the single turbo vac hose diagram has all those nipples capped except for the map senser one. Help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Are you talking about the rear of the stock secondary fuel rail? If so it sounds like you may be talking about the Fuel pressure regulator. Thats all i can think of in that area of the fuel rail.

If that is what it is...the vaccum hose MUST be connected to a source on the engine. Best place I can think of off hand is the LIM on the inside.( It comes off at an angle towards the rear of the engine. IF you do not hook up the Fuel pressure regulator vaccum line...you will NOT have enough fuel while under boost and will detonate.

I have another question for you then...I actually was under the false assumption that something else was the fuel pressure regulator. Now I don't have any idea what that thing is. The part I'm talking about has 2 vac nipples on it and has two wires comming from the 2ndary fuel rail. What is this? I thought that was the regulator but I was guess I was wrong. What do I do with this with a single setup, if you know.

read the above location listed. On the backside of the LIM there is a nipple that comes off towards the back of the engine. That is a good source. also the nipples on the UIM will work. The nipples that go from the turbo side of the LIM to the rats nest side are just thru holes. ( they have no vaccum to them.)

Do you have instant message?

The other piece you are talking about,...is that the ACV ?(air control valve) I can't think of any other valves or actuators around that area with wires coming of of it.

You are single turbo yes?

it may be the air cv...I really don't know...yes single turbo...no instant message. I really appreciate the help. It looks just like the purge control valve...green and everything...looks just about like the same thing. It also has a bolt comming out of the bottom of it just like the pcv

Man, I would love to post a picture but don't have a digital camera. I can barrow my buddy's but this may take some time. I've been trying to do a single turbo install and everytime I run into a snag I have to describe as best I can what I am talking about....It really makes the process very slow. What does the acv look like? I'll see if I can find a picture of one on here and see if that is what i am talking about.
