AHHH...You can feel the love.

Just the standard abrasiveness and love from the third gen forum. Don't take it personally. But learn to search and these comments will lessen.

usually an Apexi sticker adds about 5 hp, and if you combine a nopi sticker with an hks sticker, you can usually get about 7 more. check out ebay....

NO! Take it to a well-known rotary shop. Search the regional forums for one near you.

Okay, don't use nitrous (NOS), it doesn't get along well with apex seals. As many will say, there is kinda a three mod rule, on your third horsepower mod, you need to get a boost controller, otherwise boost will probably spike and blow an apex seal. IE, you have intake and a catback, then purchase a downpipe, well, to avoid blowing the motor, get a boost controller and gauge to keep it under 11 (10 psi is a nice, stock level for people new to the car). There is much debate around, but, to me, going above 12 psi without fuel and intercooling mods and tuning, you're just trying to blow the motor, so, keep it at 11 or 10 psi with the stock ECU, intercooler, injectors, pump, rail, fuel pressure regulator etc. Its much cheap to buy a boost gauge and controller then to have your motor rebuilt. Good luck and learun as much as you can by reading, not just asking questions. Josh

As for me being an *******, here is what our BOY pmed me:
Suckass7-You are a dong, hows the specials @ taco bell?? Im sure thats where you learned all you brilliance. Sitting in the parking lot eating chalupas and comparing NOS stickers.

And it helps to learn something about your car before you go modding the **** out of it and killing yourself or the car. Oh well, as more idiots like this wreck their 7, mine goes up in value I spent a year on the forum under my previous sig, reading and getting details and searching for the right car. You can gain a lot of knowledge by reading what people who have owned these cars for awhile post here and have figured out. If you don't know what catalytic converters are or any of the other stuff is, spend some time reading, and possibly watch people with more experience work on their cars. And have someone else do your work for you also, if you want to keep your car running.

dude not to be a dick but rx (ok maybe the rx8) cars are not for newbies! its not like a honda, 3rd gens as with any gen of 7 need alot of care and are not cheap cars to have around. ive been around cars all my life and i still dont know everything (im 17). the best thing that i can tell you is to read everything you can get your hands on!!!!

Oh, come on... everybody is a newbie when they first get their RX-7, yeah? And most everybody in their initial euphoria with the car posts this power question (and gets flamed crispy).

So cut 'em some slack and direct them to the search button. This forum is a gold mine of information on the car.

And the car is not so mysterious that only practitioners of the lost art are worthy. He's not prepared to tackle a non-sequential conversion at this point but most anyone can bolt on a cat-back without prior knowledge. Baby steps, and proceed as your knowledge and comfort working on the car grows.

will, whenever you purchase something right? You have to read up on it before getting it so then you know what it's all about...Dont get it without knowing what you'll get out of it..
