TURN OFF YOUR CAPS.

Water injection is fine. Helps cool down the intake temps.

Aquamist seems pretty popular.

Search the forum. You'll find more info.

Usually plumbed after the intercooler. And, FWIW, water injection doesn't really lower charge temps all that much. Its main purpose is to absorb heat during the combustion process thereby better stabilizing the burn.

If you're looking into water injection I would recommend Methanol. It will lower intake temps and combustion, and it will raise your octane level. Just a suggestion. I'm pretty sure with the water injection kit you can just substitute it for methanol instead, I'm not entirely sure, so if someone knows otherwise or wants to correct me please provide your knowledge.

I thought that water injection also scrubs the combustion chamber, a mild 'steam cleaning' effect. Could possibly make it harder to lubricate the side and apex seals wouldn't it?

The only one i know on the forum is 'grandpa' (i think). I know a guy who runs aquamist on his MR2, and it was pretty badass. check out www.aquamist.co.uk , they have lots of tech information, and probably a contact email or phone number to find out about applications and dealers
