just as the title says, I am mounting a stock spoiler and want to know some advise

I am doing the same thing.

I doubt there is any template that would make it easier.

I laid the spoiler on some cardboard and did some tracing and then transferred it to the car. Also use some tape (for marking) and some lines on the hatch and it transfers fairly well.

It isn't difficult, but it is nerve racking to be drilling in your car.
