actually, i think that is only meant to fit 94+ because the airbag can be removed from the 94+ cars and hence there would be space there.
Whereas, the 93's are solid there.

Good place for guages that don't need constant monitoring like temp. guages. Not good for a boost guage.

i dont think it is that ugly, but i think that it is stupid.

what good is $2000 worth of gauges and electronics in the passenger seat? you would crash your car trying to view them.

i think it will be retarded to put a boost or EGT gauge there, but that is a great place to put gauges that do not need constant attention.

IMO, it would be best if you got a dual A-pillar mount, and that air bag mount. put 2 guages that you want to see all the time on the A-pillar. then put "secondary" gauges where the air bag is. 5 gauges! that is pimp!

aslo, most people only run a dual A-pillar mount anyways. so the air bag mount is extra. if you dont wanna be distracted....dont look at them!

dont look at them? if i spent $200+ a piece on 3 greddy gauges, im gonna look at them.

also notice that in the picture is a boost, fuel pressure and temp gauge. those are three gauges that I would like to view while driving.

I think the idea is kinda cool. I don't like that specific pod, I find it ugly, but have seen pods in that same spot that I like. It does seem like over kill though, its something you'd pay hundreds of dollars for when you would rarely even take notice of what they are saying.

Sorry if you think it's ugly

I think it's very nice and will be even nicer(not ricer) when I get my car back and it will go in it.....did I forget to mention that it is CF?

Ricey?? Well to each his own......I guess I won't have to worry being that I have 1 of 2 produced....the other being in that orange FD.:p

Don't get upset.....I'm just playing around with the sarcasm.

that's what i'm saying...

"rice" is such an over-abused term on this forum. "certified rice" should only be allocated toward totally hideous contraptions, not something that has been seemingly well thought out like this gauge pod. although, the fit does seem a little off in the first picture.

just my two cents...

I think I saw somewhere that the R2's didn't have passenger airbags in place. Is this true? I know it sounds dumb.....just trying to clear it up. As far as taking the airbag out .....take the cover off and it should have bolts and a harness. Just don't hit it very hard when taking it out I actually haven't taken mine out yet so I don't really know 100%.

To be honest with you rice is used WAAAAAYYYYY to much to describe a certain look of car......which I'm sure the people who use the term so loosely have car's that every single person that see's it goes "wow, what a work of art". I think not

Run Racing gauge holder for FD

Run Racing gauge holder for FC

I think the FC looks much better than the FDs one
boost in one, A/F in another, or whatever you might want, EGT or whatnot, then just have a 2 pod a-pillar for your other gauges, always close in site, not too scrunched together
