Exclamation Anyone ever buy these from Ebay?

Those things arn't worth the ten bucks. There was one on my car when I first bought it. I chunked the thing and went with a real strut tower bar.

If you want to go the ebay rout for a strut tower bar, CP Racing sells a three point on ebay or just find a stock R1 bar and pay the extra money.

they claim that its made of light weight aluminum and then the bracket parts are made of mild steel.

I have one. I bought one two years ago for way more than $12 bucks. They work great! Turn in is alot more precise and they look cool too

lolz that's funny, now jpandes you haven't had problems from buying it from ebay? They probably reduced the price since there is competition between sellers now of the same product but is it sturdy?

Theyre good

I just put one on my car, im not sure if its the same exact one on the picture but i payed about $13 bux + shipping and I definetely felt a difference. When I am turning lets say on a bridge that curves, everytime the car reaches each section of the bridge it stays firm, before it would flex side to side. It definetely feels more firm, I didnt even think a strut bar (in general) would make such a difference.

Jpandes is a good guy to deal with, I bought my boost controller from him.

Not every strut bar is the same. Yes, this would probably be an improvement over not having a strut bar at all, but I a good quality one makes all the difference in the world.

i think they work great. i felt the difference in steering right away. well built, hasn't bent or loosened. i'm on my 2nd FD and i have one on this RX-7 and had it on my first RX-7 also.
I bought them from seller "btnz". i'll vouch for the ones he sell. dunno about the others.

I have on similar. Paid like 20 bucks after shipping. It might make a difference, but even if it doesn't its only $20 and adds a little bling to the engine bay.

I have one, it was close to $15 (see sig). Fit wasn't perfect, it did require a little manuevering to get it in, but it definitely made a difference in steering feel.

I got one of the "Bomz Racing" bars on Ebay (I know, I hate that name too). It was a bit more money than that one, but not much. IMO, if it fits and is put together reasonably well, it has to work. These things are not rocket science, and paying over $100 for some of the name brand bars is just nuts. At the core, they're all just metal bars.

I've been happy with mine. It fits fine, although it does rub on the top of my Efini crossover pipe just a bit.

a strut bar is a strut bar, it holds the body tight in turns, all strut bars are just pieces of metal. if there really is a diffence in material, plz correct me. as far as i know they are all the same thing, and do the same job. you just pay for brand.

Bomz Racing is what i have also
it was adjustable some i can't really complain about fitment issues... took me less than 10 minutes to install

Those bars will work fine, it's just a metal brace essentially.

The good bars, however, will have a threaded adjustment on either one or both ends so that you can adjust the pre-load of the bar with the car unloaded (jacked up).

these bars have a thread adjustment i think. its where u spin the bar to loosen or tighten the nuts?

they actually work good. my brother ran the car into the shoulder ditch last year, the front end was slightly bent. the sturt tower bar was crushed into a slightly higher U shape. i think it helped keep the car from really getting messed up. and they cost about 35$ total, a good investment if you dont have one.

I bought a reactive strut bar a few years ago on ebay. Its great. Fits perfect and made a huge difference. I paid like 60 bones, but I think I saw them aftet that for much less.

They work fine. The only thing that might be more rigid is the tri-point mount.
