Anyone daily drive their FD?
Yes, I'm a noob and I am fully aware of all the stickies at the top of this forum but I'd just wanted to gain some perspective if daily driving this incredible car is possible.
And for people who daily drive your FD, are you able to drive it comfortably or are you constently preoccupied with the feeling that something will malfunction in your engine compartment?
Hypothetically speaking, if one completes all the reliability modifications to the car (aluminum ast, silicone hoses, aftermarket downpipe, aftermarket radiator, upgrade the intercooler, etc) and kept the car under a reasonable amount of boost and properly maintained it, can this car actually become reliable and problem free? Can this car actually be so reliable to the point where if I needed to start the car, simply move it out of the driveway, park it on the street, and basically turn off the engine after leaving it on for a total time of a minute or so, I can do this without any worries?
Or is the FD a car where you must let it properly warm up everytime, drive under 3000 rpms before warmed up (well I do this already with any kind of car), allow the turbos to warm up, go for a drive, and then be able to safely turn it off?
I realize the FD is far from a Honda, as many of you I know consider it as a "supercar" and I agree wholeheartedly. But a little part of me still believes that this car can be fun and reliable at the same time.
Thanks for your time.
