Yes when youturn it off you are only supposed to get 7psi. If in fact you are refferin to the Profec -B .
Whats wrong?

with my AVC-R off, I get ~7psi on the primary and ~ 11psi above 4500rpm with it turned off. while it's not the same controller, in the OFF position it really shouldn't matter.

With my profec off, I see 7psi, with creep to 9psi. No big deal. Fine for me. CJ

I also get about 7psi of boost with my HKS EVC turned off. Glad to hear I'm not the only one.

when the controller is turned off, its just like having no pill in the wastegate line. so should get 7psi. anything higher is boost creep, caused by an open exhaust. ie. dp, mp, catack.
