Anybody changed their rack and pinnion?

So i was debating on spending the money and time on changing out my rack and pinnion. But im the kind of person that would rather do it my on my own than have it taken to a shop. My questions are should i buy a stock one? Or upgrade to an after market if they even have one? Anybody out there changed theirs and wouldnt mind pointing me in the right direction would gladly appreciate it.

leave it alone. Once you start removing the power steering, the AC is next, after that all hell brakes loose.
