Any of you put yellow H3s in your stock fog lights?
I've been wanting to put some yellow bulbs in my fogs for some time now. Is it possible to mimmick the yellow fogs from IS300s or similar fogs with our stock fog lights?
Can you post pics if you've done this?
Thanks!

I was looking at the 55w Hella H3s but I wasnt sure how yellow the light was. My brother installed some 100w golden style Mtec H3s in his FC's fog lights and the light isnt very yellow or gold. Its more white than anything. Right now I have some clear 55w bulbs in mine and they light up the road pretty well compared to the wussy stock bulbs. I'm scared to buy the PIAA bulbs because I dont want to shell out that much money for them and have them look like my brothers Mtec bulbs.
The company's with yellow bulbs that I've seen so far are:
- PIAA
- Mtec
- NOKYA
- Hella
- Assorted ricer brands

an easier way to do this is simply buy the jspec fog lights and replace your stock ones - they are yellow from the get-go....
i did and love the results - here is a pic after I installed mine, perhaps you can see the yellowness, albeit in a very unfalttering pic...

I put some yellow PIAA's in mine. When they're off, It's kind of difficult to see the yellow unless the light hits them at just the right angle. When they're on, the yellow isn't quite as "deep" as on the IS300, but looks nice none the less.

I've had the PIAA ION whatever 55w(=80w) in the fogs. It's better then the 35w but since the lense on the housings sucks ***, that's the major restriction. I've thought about buffing it clear but haven't tackled that project. It's not a huge improvement in fog or rain, again cause of the housing but it is easily noticed by others cars as bright yellow. I was thinking of replacing them with some 80w or 100w white/purple bulbs (Blue is illegal in CA). I'm not shure if they would last more then a year though but PIAA's have a lifetime warranty. Sorry, I can't post a pic since i'm missing my USB cable for my cam.

The PIAA's are very amber in color. The expensive price is bacause of the warranty. If I had a USB cable for my camera i'd post a pic (purple headlights & yellow fogs).
nice.... are the parking light bulbs' stock? ... i have have fog lights which are yellow... it uses regular stock bulbs but projects entirely yellow... i got it off a "jdm" bumper. i dont really know if they are or not. i also have blue headlights
