Any thoughts on Silvia Ic units

Have a friend who just put on a silvia (S13 or14) Ic core with Hks welded endtanks as a FMIC on a PEP '94. I know apex-i uses the silvia GtR cores, but how much does a silvia IC unit flow?

Badapex I think your trying to determine the difference between the sylvia core and the skyline GTR core (both made by Apexi) right? If so the specs for the cores are as follows:

Silvia I/C Core 3 (19.7"L X 9.33"H X 2.7"W)

GTR I/C Core 2 (24"L X 10.8"H X 3"W)

these are just the size differences of the cores themselves. You have to decide which end tanks you are using to determine if the cores are efficient for your application. HKS and Apexi make many different end tanks. I'd call XS engineering or Apexi themselves and discuss your needs with them.

Sorry, got confused because i had seen a post somewhere where they were jumping topics from the turbo 180 sx gti-r and the silvia. I know there are skyline gtr's, and silvia's have the K versions. But they were posting about silvia Gti-R model. What they meant was the silvia R version.
PS Apex uses silvia cores as well for their ic units

Okay, the 180SX/Silvia, the Pulsar GTi-R and the GT-R are completely different. The180SX/Silvia and the Pulsar share the same engine, but the GTi-R is All wheel drive(and it's a POS tranny). The GT-R or the Skyline GT-R is an RB26DETT All wheel Drive.
