Any thoughts on Balancing both turbos w/Profec
I am about to put on a Profec B and i have done some researching on the Profec's ability to handle a sequential system. I know how some people plumb the Profec to just thw WG and others to both. I also know the consequences with each. Is there any way to leave my manual bleed off valve connected to the PCA and run the Profec only on my WG? Just curious.

Can someone elaborate a little on this? I'm getting 8 psi in the 1st turbo proportionate to 11psi in the 2nd. If I turn the boost up they both move up and down the same, approx.
This is a wastegate adjustment? Or Profec B adjustment?

Most get a few more psi aft transition, if just the wg actuator is tapped. Using both pc and wg seems to get better balance, and good transition. Pill is removed from line(s) used.
Another concept is to mod the profec-b. use a relay, off turbo control solenoid signal, to flip the A and B settings, as greddy remote switch would. This allows different 'sharpness' for single and twin modes, and different boost set points. Just wg actuator is used.
It could allow one to dial in a flat torque curve, vs usual stair step that is due to boost control method, not a result of 'sequential operation' as many non-seq's fans will say.

actually, you can set it up so you get the same boost in both turbos. for a while, i was running 14psi on both. it would drop to about 12 in the transition. somewhere online is the diagram for it. i can't recall off the top of my head what you have to plug, etc..

I'm running my lines to both the precontrol and wastegate. I usually see about 11 psi on the first turbo and 14 psi on the second. Not a big deal really. When I need the power, I'm usually on the second turbo almost instantaneously.....gotta love that lightweight flywheel .

I was just curious because a friend of mine had hooked up both wg and pca to the profec. It got him a nice boost pattern, 12 primary, 14 secondary, but he sometimes spiked to 16 psi in transition. Dont want that to really happen. So Ill try to hook it up on both and see how that goes. Any nice site describing the process? All the ones I found have just the WG hooked up.
