Question any recommendeations on FD technical manuals?

Does anyone have any recommendations on a good rx-7 techinical manual? I need one that teaches how to figure out problems and fix them. I cant find a chilton manual for my 93' fd and i haeard the hayne's manuals are kinda vague. Any suggestions??

FD Manuals

There are two manuals of significance for the FD. The most important is the Mazda Factory Workshop Manual. By far the most detailed and authoritative and includes in-depth troubleshooting guides.

The second is the Mitchell Repair guide, preferred by some when dealing with issues such as the electrical diagrams which are presented in less confusing format.

My perspective is that when working on the FD, the more documented information and reference material the better. However, workshop manuals can be costly. Fortunately, both of these documents are available for free download at the following link:

If you prefer, you can purchase the factory guides from your local Mazda dealer who can order them for you. Cost is about $65 for the small sized page format and about $110 for the large sized page format. Content of both is the same it is only the size of the pages that are different. The factory electrical manual is separate and available at about $65.

Take Care
