any one use the M2 Battery Relocation Kit?
what is a battery with integrated metal mounting case?
also does the kit come with a fuse in the positive line?

i also have been checking out the summit kit and pettit kit. i want to go with summit but im not sure exactly what else is needed if i get it from summit.

nope.... I made my own, just go to your local auto store and get a battery tary and mount it in the rear bin.. then get some welding wire to run up to the relays.

most people have been saying the battery kits are bad. so im going to install my own kit. i already picked up a red top optima. i need to mount it into the trunk near the passenger side wheel well.
so im gona need a positive wire to run from the engine bay where the battery was to the new trunk battery. i think the red stereo wire for amplifier power should work from circuit city? also what size fuse do i want to put in the power, just the same as running an stereo amplifier?
then i would need to ground the battery to the frame in the trunk somewhere. just scrape off the paint and bolt it down?
last i would need to hold down the battery with custom mounts?

got the battery in the trunk, seems to be working well. what i learned first though is that the rear strut tower bolt is not a good ground. the car started the first time, but has since not started and gave me a bit of a headache. apparenlty current will flow through it per the multi meter, but not enough to opearte the car. a great ground in the trunk is right under the carpet right near the jack holder. there is a large bolt holding the plastic panneling there. just unbolt it, lift the plastic bracket, clear the paint, and your good to go. thanx for all the help everybody.

I just recently relocated my battery.. 1/0 gauge monster cable wire, 6 point 8 gauge grounds.. one to ecu, 1 near the seat, 4 various stock ground points..
I would also recommend doing it your self.. I'm running all monster cable wires, distributors, connectors.. and I think I'm running around $100-150 range..
Also, 1/0 gauge wire runs in perfect thru the firewall by the fender.. You need to take the stock fender off..
One more pointer.. The FD's comes with place for you to bolt inside the bins... once you take the rear bins off.. These bolt holes were for rear seat belts for JDM rear seats.. since US specs didn't have seats, these bolt holes were cover with small circular rubber plugs.. Its useful to hold your battery..
