Its really not worth it, the stock auto tranny can only hold up to around 320 hp. So unless you plan on upgrading the tranny and somehow be able to use a apexi pfc or standalone with the hold feature, their wont be any interrest. Besides the fact a manual swap would be cheaper, more efficient, and more potent.

this is on trademe.co.nz

sequential shifter converts ya bat box from h patern to sequential, has led display showing what gear is selected, great for drifting etc

How much would a manual swap cost? When I bought my FD I wanted an auto because I spend a lot of time in rush hour, but have since decided I'm a complete moron and my logic = failed.

I'm thinking a beefed up automatic would be great for drag racing.

I also have a 87 Buick Grand National and the turbo buick V-6 when converted to manual trans just won't work on the dragstrip.

An automatic and turbo works exceeding on the drag strip.

You can build boost at the line against the brake and launch really hard.

You don't need hi revs at launch either, against the brake only a couple of psi of boost.

you're right Joe, and no loss of boost between shifts either. However brake boosting is a sure way to burn up your stock tranny QUICK!
