It's awesome, wish I would have gotten it along time ago. A few things though.

The directions where slightly incorrect when connecting to the ABS connector, if you have a shop manual just verify what they are telling you is correct. It was pretty easy install compared to like the water injection kit. I mounted the controller behind the ECU. It has good diagnostics with the little green led when getting the thing up and running you can tell if any wheel is not being monitored. Took about half a day to install and figure out that their directions where not correct.

Not great for autocrossing other than the launch, the low speed tight turns give it a fit, but that can be programmed out to some degree.

I had it on when I went to VIR a couple years ago and it was fun standing on it out of some of the slower low gear turns and being able to hold down the throttle through the long sweeper on the back of the course. I was on street tires though (BFG KDs).

It's great fun to stand on it in 1st and 2nd and 3rd geer and not spin the tires like crazy. It works just as well in the rain...except brakes don't :-). It's as good as they say it is. I haven't quite got the full traction launch mode working as well but my clutch is not in great shape.

However, you can still upset the car enough with a sudden surge of boost in a turn and loose control but you shouldn't do that anyways.

My car traps about 119 in the 1/4 @ 11-12lbs of boost to give you idea of my hp.

I wired the clutch switch for the full power shift, that works awesome.

Tim,

I didn't use it long enough to use the "right" setting. I know that the 10% was a little restrictive (it came on sooner than I wanted), so I would have probably settled on 20% if I had stayed with it. I suspect that you would change the setting depending on the track. At the end of the day, I figure that it is a great system for a very good driver (which I am not) who knows the limits of the car and can use it to its fullest, or a new driver (which I am not) who is afraid of making a mistake, but may never be a good driver by using it.

finally we are actually getting some real life reviews of the product. I cant wait for someone to start talking about the launch option and how much they love/hate it, or how much it helped/hurt them.

used it this weekend for the 1st time for autox...was raining pretty bad so i used the wet setting. i am running ECSTA V710 285/30-18 w/ 425rwhp and experienced no wheel spin. I prolly cudda run 10% but was too nervous about wiping out.

anyhoo, i didnt even noticed traction kicking in but the course workers all came up and asked about it cuz the car sounded like an F1's traction. so i guess it's a thumbs up for me. i'll need to try more slip so see how it dials back when actually having some wheelspin.
