Any info on the OBX radiator hoses vs Samco

I am looking to purchase a new set of colorful radiator hoses for my car. I was thinking of buying the samco cause of there brand name but at $130 for the set makes me want to find out if there worth the price. The OBX hoses are selling on ebay for $45 so just wondering if anyone has tried these hoses, and how they compare to the samco hoses. Thanks

I haven't seen the OBX radiator hoses, but I've seen some of the turbo couplers. Those lacked the interior stitching and were just basically all rubber. Needless to say their longevity wasn't that good. For the cooling system, I would suggest either going with Samco or OEM. I have the Samco hoses and they are very well constructed.

I've been running the obx hoses for about 1.5 year so far no problems. Still looks brand new.

If it is looks you would like without the price. Go with OEM and get sleeving for them. For the money, you can get an entire set of new oem coolant hoses.

The SAMCO hoses are very thick and apear to be of very high quality. I just recently installed a set on my cooling system, and I'm very confident that they will hold up for a LONG time.

i wondered the same thing...obx vs samco. i know samco have the best durability but wat makes obx different from the stock hoses. they should still hold up the same...that was my guess
