Any Ideas on why it's running so rich?

I'am having a problem with my car as of right now. It's running really rich and it's basically a stock car.

It's got filter, dp, gutted cat, stock cat back.

No upgraded fuel injectors, fuel pump, or anything.

It's just runnign really rich, like not starting after it's been running for about 5-7 minutes. I took it to a rotary shop and they have no idea why it's running so rich.

Na don't need an ECU with a restricted intake and it's kept at 10 psi at all times. It's a 10-8-10 boost pattern. No check engine light either. I'am thinking leaking FPD or an injector.

make sure your map sensor is plug in good.. the vacuum line is good and the harness is in good... hmm this is kinda interesting.. Reset your ecu by disconnecting your battery and mashing the brakes for 45 seconds and reconnect the battery.. see if maybe the ecu is just being funny.

A bad FPR will also cause you to run rich all of the time, to the point that the car won't hot start unless you mash the gas while starting.

it is the just above the wiring harness there on the rear pass side of the car. to see if it is leaking pull the vac line off the bottom of it and if it has gas in it it is def bad. also look into the water temp sensor. if it is bad it will read cold all the time and cause you to go rich

what if the car just got a brand new apexi pfc ecu will that control the fuel management at low rpm's and will that fix it from flooding and fix it from running too rich?

No. It's flooding because of a mechanical problem. Bad idea to try to band-aid it in such a fashion.

do you think that not having enough firing power to the spark plugs will make the car run rich. Not burning up all the gas?

It's possible that the air pump is disconnected.... (Rlay Bad or wire busted) this can cause it to run rich... due to not enough oxygen, which the ecu counts on... BTW Airump should be on from Idle through 3200 rpm...

Street King removed it from the car already before I bought it from him. The air pump shouldn't cuase it to flood though.
