These bastards took me for $15 over a year and a half ago and the site has never been updated, stil the same damn cars. Phone has a recorder but no one ever returns calls. SOB's

Some states will issue you a clean title if you live in that state. Other give you a "reconstructed" title. Getting a clean title is a pretty shady thing to do and nowadays it is mainly done for expensive cars that are "worth it."

Like dpeak said, you can at minimum get a rebuilt title by having it fixed and inspected (not regular state inspection...it's a special inspection, but I'm not familiar w/ it). Some states will INDEED issue you a clean title. That's why checking carfax is so important. I've seen a few cars on this and other forums being passed off as clean titles, but the title history reveals major accidents and a salvage title...
