Question any body think this is a good idea?

well i would like to get an rx-7 and theres this place called www.readytofix.com and they have a 94 rx-7 semi-modded for "make an offer" it is an "inssurance claim vehicle" anything wrong with that? well it was stolen and recovered the hood tailights seats headligts front bumper stereo missing. the thing is tho that i wanted to replace most all of those so take a look and tell me if its a good deal. http://www.readytofix.com/Inventory/RX7_Theft_Red.htm

They don't actually have any cars. They charge you 15 bucks to get a list of websites that do and normally those sites won't have any FD's. That red FD has been on that site for over a year. How do I know? I was a sucker.

They charge you to get into their so called network but it really isn't a network because you can scour the internet for such sites anyway and I believe that the sites have no affiliation to them.

There is a mazda junkyard in northern california that might have some rolling chassis'. Try googling it.

These people can go to hell. I hope they burn. Really.

I'm a non-violent man, very calm, very collected, but ppl like this **** ME OFF BEYOND BELIEF. They advertise a car and some rediculously low price, which of course gets your attention. So you go to their website. There, you see sooo much detail on the car. Pics, history, mileage, blah blah. But they say you gotta pay $20 to gain access. So I did. What happened? They take you to this page just FULL of links, and each link is FULL of additional links. I looked through EVERY SINGLE ONE, interested in the 94 white FD (which has been on autotrader for a decade now lol), and couldn't find a SINGLE RX7 of ANY year, ANYWHERE in the Nation. Freakin bull.

So at the top, they have this section for FAQ's. Here's what it says (you'll see why I'm so pissed now, and what they're REALLY all about...) These guys are ROBBERS, and someone should file fraud against them, ESP when they just claim the car has been sold, but it's listed, relisted, and CONTINUED to be listed for months if not years.

ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A SPECIFIC VEHICLE YOU'VE SEEN ADVERTISED ?

The vehicles we list come from a multitude of sources that are not exclusive to just our list of brokers. Our listings may include some of our own inventory as well as consigned vehicles from sellers who may not be on our list of brokers and vehicles coming from private party sellers.

Please keep in mind, due to the pricing and desirability of these vehicles, they can sell very quickly. If you can't find a vehicle we've advertised then you can assume it has already been sold. Just as you were attracted to a particular vehicle we've advertised so are hundreds of other buyers from across the internet who may have already beaten you to the deal.

N O T E: Vehicles can continue to be advertised even after they've been sold due to the lapse in time of updating various online ad listings we use throughout the internet.

However, the principal objective of our service is to provide members with a continually renewed source of insurance claim settlement vehicles. While a particular vehicle you've seen advertised may already be sold, you're likely to find like, same or similar vehicles from our our list of brokers as the inventory changes and renews daily.

IS THERE A SEARCHABLE DATABASE ?

No unfortunately there isn't. These inventories can change by the hour and there's no practical means to offer a searchable database yielding accurate and time sensitive results. To do so would require each of the 60 plus independent brokers on our list to input inventory data into a common database on a moment by moment basis. Many of these brokers do not posses either the gumption or the technical savvy needed to operate database entries. It's therefore necessary that you individually review the inventories of each broker to attain an accurate survey of vehicles currently available. .

Further note. we do not provide a "list" of vehicles, we provide a list of 60 plus nationwide auto brokers that specialize specifically in the sales of insurance claim settlement vehicles being sold at discounted prices.

DO YOU HAVE A COMMENT OR A COMPLAINT ?

We receive many gracious comments thanking us for the profitable information we provide. We also receive occasional baseless complaints that we wish to address.

Complaint 1. "This list of brokers can be found on Google" That's far from the truth since less than a very few of the brokers we list can be found in a search engine inquiry. We've been in the business of insurance claim settlement vehicles since 1976. We're an authority on the subject and as such we compiled our list of brokers from having bought, sold and repaired these type vehicles the past 28 years. For a mere $15 you're getting what took us 28 years of trial and error to accumulate.

Complaint 2. "Why isn't there a searchable database?" There's no searchable database because the inventories can change by the hour and for a database to yield accurate and timely results, all of our 60 plus independent brokers would have to participate in moment by moment updating of a common database which simply isn't feasible or practical. At best the results of a search would be incomplete and outdated. In a perfect world you would just type in the make and model and attain instantaneous results. As it is in the real world, we are dealing with thousands of vehicles that come and go on a daily basis and many are sold by sellers without the high-tech savvy necessary to articulate database entries. The only certain way to obtain accurate inventory listing is to inquire individually with each broker.

Complaint 3. "Why can't I find a vehicle I've seen advertised?" This is the internet and it can produce an enormous audience for these type vehicles due to their desirability and price. These vehicles can sell very quickly. The same vehicle that you were attracted to is also attracting hundreds of other buyers that may have already beaten you to the deal. If a vehicle has already been sold you aren't going to find it, it's just that simple. And the reason you may still see it advertised after it has been sold is that there may be a lapse in time from when it's sold until the time the listing is terminated.

Complaint 4. "This is a list of junk yards" That's an unfounded comment that comes from unenlightened individuals. The fact is we have compiled the most comprehensive list of the nation's 60 plus major insurance claim settlement auto brokers from our 28 years in the business of buying, selling and repairing these specific type vehicles. Our list of brokers does not contain "junk yards" rather it's a list of specialized auto dealers specifically bonded and licensed to purchase insurance claim vehicles direct from major insurance companies. Some of these brokers in addition to offering insurance settlement vehicles also sell parts from vehicles too severely damaged to be repaired. Unfortunately there's a few people too eager and anxious to launch baseless complaints rather than recognize that those brokers also offering parts are an asset to our list since they represent an affordable source of parts for the cars that require replacement of damaged components.

Our list of brokers represents a constantly renewed source of insurance claim settlement vehicles representing numerous profitable opportunities and that is the essence of the service we provide.

The listing has well...a listing of such places. Keep in mind however, that almost every car in such a place will have a salvage/rebuilt title attached to it. It's not minor exterior work (unless it's a theft recovery). It's usually frame damage.

If you really wanna check out some of the local places, the login password is your email address. For (possible) legal reasons, I won't provide you w/ it, but if you look up on my profile...

FDNewbie. Now I don't feel so bad, seeing as how you have been burned by them too. However, I got taken for 14.95.

Must be inflation.

Maybe it was $15 for me too, but that's still 1500 cents too many

The recycling center in North CA I found a long time ago

It might be a lame one too. I never cared enough to give them a call. Tell me if it turns out profitable because in all my searching I managed to find a bad review about a mazda yard in rancho cordova with a different website. They may or may not be related. One of them has to be legit...says logic.

http://www.mazdarecycling.com/

I know the address seems rather obvious but if you google: mazda repair rebuild dismantling salvage or whatever, it doesn't immediately pop up. It took me hours to find this when I finally settled on the key phrase 'mazda recycling yard'
