Any advice on windshield removal?
Hi all. I've got to change out my windshield, and I need to do it since I'm replacing it with Lexan. I haven't removed a modern windshield like this before, so I'm just wondering if anyone out there has any tips / info on the adhesive used, best methods, etc. TIA!

Go to the parts store and buy the corrcet tool.
On my CRX, I just slipped some piano wire through, and cut the adhesive all the way around, but it also scratched up the body, and the FD adhesive may not be the same.
Converting to full out drag car? If it's going to be a roadrace or autox car, I would suggest against using lexan for the windshield (because theres a good possibility you will run in rain, and will need to use your wipers, wipers and lexan don't work together...wipers easily scratch the lexan).
