yeah, you can run 15 lbs. with it, and it will enable you to get that streetported new motor you've always wanted!

This is a prime example of the kind of damage ricers can do to such a fine automobile. This owner should be shot. What kind of dumbfvck would turn the stock IC on it's side and remove the duct? Every fvcking day I lose a little more faith in humanity.

Removing the duct is a definite , but think of it this way, he DID remove the nasty 90 degree bend at the bottom of the IC. Maybe that was his goal....

Just judging by the picture, his goals are:
a) buy air pipes
b) restrict turbo inlets
c) increase intake temps
d) airpump moo
e) red stuff
f) make the buyer of this car a huge sucker

Another thing... the owner set the reserve @ $18,500. He appearently got a little too carried away with all this ducting business and routed the exhaust to the dash vents.

Honestly, I think the deal with this auction is that this person has too much cash and too little brain. He dumps over 20g into the car and probably making about 250 rwhp on an automatic tranny, and was just barely smart enough to understand that when a five-year-old girl on a tricycle gets better trap speeds, then you have wasted your money!

Soapbox time!
This is such a growing problem with this country. Someone ***** up and then does everything in their power and more to get someone else to pay for it. Sad part is... It works!

I like to think I have a mild temperament and I honestly try really hard to respect other's opinions and tastes. However, I must say that "THIS ************ IS GOING TO HELL AND I'M SENDING HIM THERE!"

Anyone want me to send this guy a link to this thread?

On a lighter note, where does the moo come from then? Exhaust pulses from the main cat? The Air Control Valve?

Yep yep. For some reason, it stops working when you disconnect the airpump. I never bothered to learn HOW these 2 are related and what exactly he ACV does. All I know is that we don't need it for performance

That is the dumbest IC setup I have ever seen. I bet that car makes less than 250 RWHP on the dyno. But who cares, right? It just needs enough power to go by once and then turn around and go by again so everyone can see the cool wheel variety setup.

That car is just pathetic and I hope the sucker that buys it doesnt come on to the forum asking a million questions why his IC is different and why is the car overheating, etc, lol...well to each his own. Seems like this car is stirring alot of discussion, there is another post about the rear wing too, funny how must of us have FD's but still check out whats on ebay these days, lol.

I think you are jumping to conclusions.

In the picture, you really can't see what is in front of the stock intercooler that has been turned on its side.
Since he went through the trouble of fabricating the pipes for the intercooler to be placed on its side, he may have also fabricated a duct for the intercooler.

You never know.

hmmm, good point, he might have, BUT I doubt it. Lets ask him, someone "ask the seller a question", he probably bought the car like that and has no idea whats going on, just my guess though.

I think I see the edge of the radiator fan cowl on the left, but the right side is blocked by the battery tray. I guess he could have a duct from the driver's side fan, but IMO, this guy is a total ricer.

It also looks like he might have spray painted the IC metallic silver.

What kind of pipings are those??? Pepe's Mufflers or what? There is no way that those "customized" piping would improve performance....like Jonski mention that it'll heat up the charged air even more.

Can we all chip in and purchase this FD so that we can restore the damage that have been inflicted by the ruthless owner???LOL.
