Antigravity ATX20-RS Battery
Hi everyone, I recently relocated my 51R battery to the storage bin. It doesn't fit perfectly being 1 inch too tall. And it's really heavy... So I did some research on flooded vs. AGM vs. Li-ion batteries over the weekend. I decide to stay away from AGMs since from what I heard they prone to damage under over-discharge and I don't drive my car very often. And most Li-ion batteries has lower AH rating, 20°C~50°C ideal temperature range, needs specific chargers, cannot be jump started, and certainly more expensive. However, Li-ion batteries have come down in price over the years and I see them a lot on BRZ/GT86s.

I found this product by Antigravity that features over-discharge protection and allowing users to restart the battery under low charge condition. I believe this is the same technology they implemented on the RS-20 battery. Does anyone have any experience with those "starter batteries"? It might be an overkill but given the weight advantage I'd try it on my car. Need some advices

Thanks a lot! I definitely overlooked the complexity of the battery and FD's electronic system. Maybe just going to keep the car how it is until I know better
