Best Aussie Battery/Battery Relocation
Hi all you Aussie rx owners.....
What's the general consensus for the best battery to use here? I got a champion heavy duty battery in mine... and its about time that it was replaced, so asking for any suggestions. I got a lot of elec stuff to run, amp, sub, and other bits and pieces..so anything really heavy duty/powerful is a plus.
Also...anyone tried to relocate the battery from the front to perhaps the rear? I read an article in autospeed that made it seem like a good idea as well as not too hard..anyone tried it?
Cheers

Mount it where the storage bins would be? Instead of bins is there just a steel panel over that area?
As for location, since it's a right hand drive, i'd locate battery on the left side to counter-balance the driver's weight.
Interstate Battery makes a very nice RV/Marine battery called MEGATRON. They can take and hold a charge very well. Best battery I ever bought.
Or Odyssey PC680 small battery, rather light yet still gets the job done.

I've just recently mounted an Odyssey 650 right behind the passenger seat, in front of the big square section that runs across the car.
If you've got lot's of elec stuff, you might consider a larger Odyssey, or perhaps an Optima.
Jump over to www.ausrotary.com and search around, you'll find some info.
