Not sure...thread's too old and too long for me to sift through it. But I THOUGHT someone claimed there was something more to the KDR plugs, but hey...I also remember someone saying KDR just tuned for it.

I'm w/ Ernie in that I'd just steer clear of KDR when it comes to tuning. I've heard wayy too much probs and blown engines coming from their end. Dunno 'em...but just me playing it safe - which I think EVERYONE should do w/ rotaries.

Bottom line: there simply is no substitute for a properly modded and skillfully tuned rotary.

Sometimes those eastcoast guys just seem a bit too far. I've heard nothing but good things about their tuning though.

not with stock twins! my car was tuned better by dave then it was by another tuner who gets nothing but praise on this forum. My car ran SMOOTHER and had a flater afr of 11.2 versus the current 10.8. Talk about a waste of $500.

I will scrounge thru the garage and find pics of these if anyone is really interested. You want to guess the condition of the engine when I purchased the car?? Yep it was blown with only like 10-15k miles on a reman.

I am pretty sure I have pics saved if anyone really wants to see. They are just small aluminum discs with a notch on one side, though.

I move for a permaban for having the COMPLETE misnomer of rotary mechanic in his sig while simultaneously being retarded enough to bring this damn thing back to the surface.
