Angry Another stupid mazda dealer!!!

Here it goes... I just got my car 2days ago... after changing the AST tank and servicing d rex. Driving from work i tried pushing it and evrything was a o.k., until the nex morning. I startd her up and the coolant light, lite up!!! i then quickly shut her off and open the hood and inspect the radiator and ast cap. Guess wat? No f@#% water!!! How come i didnt c any collant leaking!?! I filled the system wiv distilled water, since i didn't have any collant at that time, and no leak?!?

As i went 2work d next day i waited until the timer went off and all of the water came out from the resevoir tank... the AST tank releases lots of preasure with a hsssss sound... So I workd half-day and started pulling everyting out... and as it turnd out the dumb *** mechanic took out 2 of the 2inch pipe that sucks in fresh air from the front bumper that i modify for the intake system. They didnt even put any collant in there!!! For the past 3days she has been breathing HOT air...

My question: WILL THIS DAMAGE MY ENGINE? OR ANY OF THE COOLING SYSTEM? I can c the turbo glowing hot red even on daylight!!!

No if the engine temp never went over half way you dont have anything to worry about. Good thing you caught it pretty quick.

did you open the radiator drain plug or just notice that there wasn't any coolant in the filler neck when you took the radiator cap off?

if it was only the latter, then they just didn't bleed all the air out of the cooling system. if they did maintenance on your car they probably drained/flushed your cooling system and then didn't fill it up properly.

I'd say do it yourself again.. drain, flush and refill your coolant properly. if you need instructions check the web links on this site, or the newbie thread at the top
