Another Solenoid Question

Just a quick question. I've searched through numerous threads on interchanging solenoids and haven't found a concrete answer to what I was looking for.

Here's the deal...

I ordered a Turbo Control Solenoid (part #18-740A, on the rack) because of my current boost issues. I received the wrong solenoid (part #13-240a) which I believe is the pressure regulator control solenoid. I went ahead and stuck that solenoid in there after putting the filter on the other side... and now have No Boost what so ever. My question is... are the solenoids interchangable? I've read that I specifically need the TCS when replacing it. Any help would be appreciated

Yes, they are interchangeable if you swap the filter around. The only difference between the rack solenoids is the little colored stickers on them and the placement of the filter.

I'll bet you have an unconnected or crossed hose.
