another question, rebuilt first start

Got through my electrical gremlins, it turns over, starts but idles high and is dropping fuel down around the exhaust. I'm going to check the fuel injectors. They were seated properly when installed. I am thinking it may have been one of the connectors on the primary fuel rail? If if came loose would it cause the injector to stay open, therefor pumping too much fuel into block?

No it would only happen if the injector was stuck open or use of inprooper o-rings or non seated injectors would do.

Make sure you unplug your AWS if you still have it. Also, how high is your idle? It could be caused by a vaccume leak. The fuel leak could be a number of areas. You should have pressured the system with air to check for leaks prior to calling it "done."
