another problem

first of all, i would like to thank everyone for their help on my car, through the swap, til, the present, but theres still yet another problem.

i have done a swap, from auto to manual, and its done, the car has a downpipe, and a BOV, i had codes 19, 30, 33, 39, and a mess up vacuum hose, all codes are now gone (thanks to yall) and the hose is fixed, im pulling no codes whatsoever now, heres the current and persistan problem:

car cranks fine, rough idle, than when i rev the car, and it get to about 2500 rpm's, it sputters, and cuts out bad, but never dies, and the check engine light blinks on, but than goes off, and im pulling no codes now, as i said before? what they heck could this be now?

i still dont have a driveshaft, so its still in the garage, where its been for about 6 weeks.

thanks

Did you by chance reset the ECU?

Sounds to me like you might be flooded? Are you letting this engine warm up fully before you are shutting it off? Since you are not driving it around, you need to idle it for about 5 to 7 minutes to get the temps up fully before you shut off. If you are only starting it and running it a few minutes each time, you are just pooling fuel into the engine, ESPECIALLY if the ECU thinks the engine is cold and is running it's accelerated warmup fuel dump dance!

Look on this forum for flood fixes. Perhaps pulling the EGI fuse (t disable the fuel pump), pulling the plugs and turning it over for ten to twenty second spurts a few times to clear the fuel out of the combustion chambers?

Warm it each time you start it, or it WILL flood!

well, i thought it might be flooded, took the two leading plugs out, the two bottome ones on each cyl, and unhooked the wires from the other two plugs, and removed the egi fuse, and turned it over for about 15 secs, 3 different times, i couldn't tell that anything had came out of the chamber, so i put the plugs back in, and i had the same symtoms!

it would rev fine, until about 2200 rpm's, and than it would sputter, and cough, like a lawn mower, and the check engine light will blink on, but not stay, and i could still increase the rpm's by giving it gas, but they power decreased, the engine noise grew weaker, but the rpms increased, only past 2200 rpms would it act up.

any more ideas, im lost, timing? plugs? what does this sound like!

thanks
