Talking Another Noob

Yeah I'm a noob looking to buy a 3rd gen in the comming months. I'm 18 and an incomming Mech E major (engineers love this car!) at Florida Tech. This'll be my first car, yeah I know probably not the best choice for a beater but I'm mature, and a serious car guy. I can handle it. My plans are to Auto X it and pull low 12's high 11's in the 1320 and keep it a (fairly) reliable daily driver. I've been researching like a **** trying to absorb as much info as humanly possible before making a purchase. I'll be looking for a 7 with a blown engine so I can have it built right the first time. Any advice you guys give is greatly appeciated, I hope to learn from your mistakes/misfortunes, (it's cheaper that way ). TIA

Randy

Good luck in your search! You will NOT regret getting this car. It's the most fun you can have with your pants on (unless you're driving naked).
