another fortune rx7 question

I have my fortune kit ready to be installed on my rx7 and i havea few querstions from those who own them. do drive your cafr often? do you get on the gas or are you just putting around because you dont want to break it. I love the kit but i dont want to have to drive like i have a small child in the car everytime i go for a drive. I bought my 20b for a reason and i dont want anything to keep me from doing that. I just concerned that it may not hold for those highspeeds. should i just ditch the fortune kit or am i being paranoid? thanks in advance

Just take your time and do the install properly.

Even if it takes you an extra month to do it perfectly, the peace-of-mind you will get will be priceless.

I'm definetly having it done right Im just not sure that the fiberglass is going to handle 160mph or whatever i decide to go to. It just seems flimsy but then i saw the video of the guy with the all candy red fortune kit doing a 4th gear pull on the highway and it gave me hope but how often does he do that and how well does it hold up afterwards? is the fiber glass all cracked and look like a riced out honda? if its going to be that way i will just go back to stock and get some fender flares for the beigger rubber. i really dont want to give up on this project but i dont want to spend $20k and just see it break that would be stupid. im hoping i hear from so me fortune owners about their experiences. I hear some people say that they drive it and others like the owner of iforged says show car ONLY!

i jsut compared my kit the other day to my friends frp frnt end on his vette and my material looks a lot more stabe than his he has seen 200mph in his car with no problems( i'am officially sold). Now the only question is do i still want to do it going to the 99 spec body with fender flares is kind of tempting too. I think that If i did do this kit i would miss my rx7 considering it looks like a koenigsegg and not an rx7 who knows. i guess now all I have to do is decide which way im going to go with the car.
