I am looking at either a HKS or Pettit downpipe. I know the opinions will be like an "oil" thread...but I am going to ask anyway.

Is one of the above better than the other and why?

It looks like the HKS has the hanger bracket and the Pettit does not...is this true.

Are there any known issues with hanging either? I have read some reports that the Pettit flanges can sometimes be off, but those were old reviews.

The pettit does not have the hanger. Personally I don't think it's necessary.

Not sure about the pettit pipes not fitting - there are less expensive ones that didn't fit where it mates to the main cat, but those weren't Pettits.
