the bov on my car has been altered by removing the hose and caping the air box..
good turbos on a completly stock car should be 10-8-10 so when the car goes from 10 psi to 8 psi should i hear the bov go off?? if so what rpm would it be at cause i'm not hearing anything

yeah i can hear the bov any time i let my foot off the gas at about 2500 rpms +
if its really light acceleration or if i'm just cruising i can hear a hissing noise sometimes if i'm at like 3k rpms.. is that normal?

Apparently, from some older threads, the BOV lets out more air than aftermarket ones because of the valve spring tension (it's a little less). So, what you are probably hearing is normal for venting the stock BOV.
