aluminum AST hook-up question.

did some searching with no luck. is there a write up anywhere on how to hook up a new AST? or even a quick description would help me out.

sorry, my engine has been out of the car over 2 years and I plumb forgot I think the top nipple on AST goes to the upper front thermostat housing nipple, and one of the others goes to the bottom of the radiator...that's all I remember. thanks for any help

I hooked mine up to the radiator with a piece of metal that was included with the Greddy FMIC kit (used for the A/C frame but I have removed A/C).

BUT, I WOULD ADVICE AGAINST THIS SETUP

Why? It seems to heat my up fmic pipes A LOT!

It's an aftermarket aluminium AST, I will relocated it to the place where the airpump used to be. I think that's a good location.

ok, good to know, but mounting it isn't my main concern. it's the routing of the 3 hoses coming off of it.

That's easy, the top connection on the AST goes to the overflow tank (plastic one), the middle connection goes to the water pump, and the bottom one goes to your radiator.
