I have looked for it in the past and I couldn't acquire the part number for it either.

The only thing I found is this:
RHDJapan : RE-Amemiya Alternator Cap - RED

I'm pretty sure you can just go down to your local mazda dealer to get one.

...i thought that...unfortunately, my dealer had no idea where to look for, and didn't know how to get one (to be honest, he's not the smartet guy on earth...). Newer Mazda models just have plastic caps that didn't seem to work...

The RE-A part is quite cheap, if i would have known before i would have ordered a bunch of these from japan.

I guess the boot was made not for the FD3S alone, so perhaps anyone who reads this will provide some help...

Mazda does not sell it separate from the harness. you will have to find something from a different car that will work

I went to my Local auto parts store and found one. It was a bit smaller but it still fit with a bit of force.

Do what I did. Go to the local junkyard and pull some boots that look they might fit. It'll be a lot cheaper than buying that RE Amemiya cap and probably fit better than a generic Autozone part.

If you're lucky you can find a early Miata cap. If not, a 2nd gen Eclipse has a nice red cap. Hyundai also uses the same cap. Mid 90s Civics also have the closest fit to our oem cap.

In the pic from L to R is the OEM one, 2nd gen Eclipse, Hyundai, Civic, and then some misc Mitsubishi ones.

I know that feeling when your ride is missing something so simple but can't source one. My brother had a jdm Honda wiring harness just sitting and I stole that boot. It's a perfect fit it looks factory. So I believe any Honda boot will fit just fine, so hit the junk yard. By the way the harness my brother had was from a 20b crv engine.
