Alt / Airpump

So about 2 weeks ago my airpump seized up on me and ended up snapping my belt, i got a new airpump and belt, through it in, and everythings been running great for about 2 weeks. Yesterday i noticed a loud squieking noise when driving in lower gears. It would go away whenever i pushed in the clutch. So finally last night i was driving and all of a sudden SNAP my belt snaps. I checked the airpump and alt. pulleys and neither of them are seized up. What caused the belt to snap this time?

Check two things:

1. Belt tension
2. Make sure the belt isn't rubbing on anything (especially around the t-stat housing)
