Unhappy Alright Newbie Question

Alright I got a really stupid question. =\

So I see everyone looking for 3rd Gen FD RXy's. What exactly is the FD?

FD is the car code. Stands for FD3S. Like the 2nd Gen RX-7 is the FC3S.

The factory name for the car. 1st gen SA22C, 1st and a half FB3S, 2nd gen FC3S, third gen FD3S.

If you ever look at the VIN for the 93-95's, the 4th and 5th characters are FD....cool....

I believe that was the "Luce" in japan I think the era was '81, the luxury performer. The Cosmo came out of this body? correct?

You got the luce right but the body of the cosmo(either 80+ models) is not simailar.

The luce was from 87-90 I believe...
