Already searched, triple spark plugs

i've been searchin for between 45 minutes and an hour, and i havn't found answers to my question:

Has anyone ever pulled off triple spark plugs on a 13b, much like mazda did with the 787B 4-rotor? If not, is it just too much of a hassle, no ECU's that will handle 3 spark plugs, or not worth adding the third plug because of miniscule power gains?

I think you hit the nail on the head with the whole "not worth it" thought process.

why? because i was curious if the third spark plug helped achieve a cleaner, faster burn giving more power, or if it was just something that Mazda tried with the 787B to see how well it worked

Mazda's own testing showed only around a 2% increase in fuel economy and something like a 2% increase in torque.

What a waste of time for a street engine.

Headway performance built my 20b and had a couple of housing laying around with 3-spark plugs installed...(it caught my immediate attention)

They are in bronx NY if you want to get ahold of them...

The twin plugs on the leading spark are mostly needed when running extremely high boost or more commonly Alcohol as it requires more to keep the candle lit!
