1993 Rx7 Single Turbo ??
Looking for some info and advice: Have been working on a 93 RX7 for awhile just wondering if I will need to upgrade the fuel system.. Here are the specs:
Atkins Rotary Street Port/ dowel pinned - motor less than 2 miles on it
Greddy Single Turbo kit w/ front mount intercooler- Garret Turbo A/R 60
Underdrive pullies
95 Cooling System
M2 Chip
Apexi cat back
Greddy downpipe w/ external wastegate
Centerforce clutch
running 8-9psi on 93 octane
I am thinking the fuel system probably needs to be upgraded to even run low boost safely on the street..Any input would be appreciated!!

What ecu would you guys recommend, I know many guys that are using microtech. Was hoping to go with something a bit simplier.. Also should I just upgrade the fuel pump and worry about injector later?? I am only running 9 psi at max...

If you're looking for simpler, I believe the Apex Power FC is the way to go. Upgrade the secondaries to 1300cc by getting the stock 850s bored out at RC Engineering.
These are probably the simplest ways to go but should be more that sufficient for you, I would think. Also set aside a couple hundred bucks to get your car tuned, or invest a couple hundred more in a dataloging setup and wideband sensor so you can tune yourself.

Just upgrade your secondaries to like 1600s and buy a fuel rail, the primaries will be fine at 550s for around 400whp. Check the forsale section ive got a rail/ injector combo forsale.

If the 850's are in good working condition, I have a friend who is only making 320 to the wheels hiting 96% duty with 85-'s all around, 1300 or 1600 would be easy, then if you decided to upgrade again later you wouldent have to mess with the fuel system

I was talking to Rick about fuel upgrades when I was in the process of doing a single turbo conversion, and was saying that back when he had the T78, the only upgrades he had were a fuel pump and 1300 injectors and never saw duty cycles go past 85%. I was going with a RX6, which is much smaller, so I went that route. You can't bea the ease of install with that route. I was considering a fuel rail upgrade with 1600s, but I think it's overkill for most applications if you're not looking for a high-horsepower drag racing monster.
