All of a sudden the passenger side window doesn't go up....

It was just working fine in the morning and then at night the passenger side window won't close back up, it'll go down, but not back up.

What kind of problem is this and how do I go about fixing it?

Thanks for any advice.

Dan.

Yeah of course.

I toggled the on/off switch on the driver side a few times but the passenger side window just doesn't seem to want to go back up.

Can you roll it up with the passenger door switch? If you have and it still does not roll up and you don't here the motor then the motor is probable shot. If you can roll it up with the passenger swith then the driver side switch is bad (common problem these days) and needs to be replaced.

OK OK OK all calm down. Iam going through this exact problem right now. Its the connector through the driver door going into the body of it. Some water might have gotten in the there. I have to pull mine off every now and then and clean the contacts because of oxidation. Just go and wiggle it a little and see if it will work.

yup same thing happened to me earlier in the summer. The connector street king is talking about was faucked in my car.
But I am wondering, is this a semi-common problem seeing the same thing happened to us right around the same time. But this is the first thread I have seen discussing the matter........interesting
