Is that accelerating from 40 mph or accelerating through 40 mph? Either way, that's crazy fast. You need to get back to the drag strip to see what your setup can really do!

Punch it (start the stopwatch), and don't let off until the very top of 4th, 8000 rpm at ~140 mph. I did it consistently in 14 seconds flat, and was running 1.14 (~16.2 psi) on the power fc commander. For a frame of reference, the big bad new 500 ci 500 hp 525 torque Viper SRT-10 did it in......15.1 seconds .

I'll be very curious to see what times people with varying setups post. This is a great way to compare BNRs vs stock turbos vs Pettit upgraded twins vs GT3540 vs M2 upgraded twins vs T-78 vs etc etc....

where the hell do u find a spot to go that fast.. if i try cops will be sure to follow

I've got a nice stretch of Highway 1 near where I live. I figure if I could comfortably do 0-120, I could do 40-140. I'm at ~300rwhp right now, but I kinda want to get retuned and shoot for 350.

When I was making those runs I lived out in Texas, lots of wide open spaces. Out in NJ, I just have to find the nearest empty highway......you're only speeding for 10-15 seconds

bring this thread back up, finally got to do a 40-140mph run vs. a ws6 trans am. i was also timing and recording it. did the run from a 40 roll so if i had started lower at 20-30 and got a good start it probably would have been a few tenths faster. anyway i came up with 13.3 for the 40-140.

40-120 would be easy. Finding a place to get that last 20 mph is tougher. I'm going to give this a shot though.

'Course the $64,000 question Rich is, how does your new set-up compare timewise to the old?

I recently timed myself at 60 to 140mph in 10 seconds flat, I have it on video actually. This was at 1 bar boost, in 4th gear it crept to 19 psi. In hindsite, I guess I should have started at 40mph, lol.
