i did 147 in 4th on the dyno when we were ******* around and i have done 140+ on the expressway a hundred times.

Is that accelerating from 40 mph or accelerating through 40 mph? Either way, that's crazy fast. You need to get back to the drag strip to see what your setup can really do!

I've got a nice stretch of Highway 1 near where I live. I figure if I could comfortably do 0-120, I could do 40-140. I'm at ~300rwhp right now, but I kinda want to get retuned and shoot for 350.

When I was making those runs I lived out in Texas, lots of wide open spaces. Out in NJ, I just have to find the nearest empty highway......you're only speeding for 10-15 seconds

bring this thread back up, finally got to do a 40-140mph run vs. a ws6 trans am. i was also timing and recording it. did the run from a 40 roll so if i had started lower at 20-30 and got a good start it probably would have been a few tenths faster. anyway i came up with 13.3 for the 40-140.

40-120 would be easy. Finding a place to get that last 20 mph is tougher. I'm going to give this a shot though.

i do 60-120mph runs often, they are much easier to find room.

I recently timed myself at 60 to 140mph in 10 seconds flat, I have it on video actually. This was at 1 bar boost, in 4th gear it crept to 19 psi. In hindsite, I guess I should have started at 40mph, lol.
