Airbag Beep Codes

Hey guys, I'm getting the 5 sets of 5 beeps on startup which means there is a problem with my airbag system, but i'm clueless where to start looking for problems. It has done this since i bought it but i've just ignored it because i don't drive it often. I'd rather fix it instead of just disabling the beeps but any advice it appreciated.

I have no idea about the codes but does your horn work? If your horn does not work and you are getting the airbag code then most likely it is your clock spring in the steering wheel. Which can only be replaced with a turn indicator/wiper stalk column assembly. If I remember correctly it is about $300.00 from Mazda.

No light, just the beep codes, the light may have been removed by the previous owner.

I would start by reinstalling the light.it may fix your problem since the system checks to see if everything is working correctly including the bulb.If it is still acting up you will need the light to check codes

Well, if the air bag poped before and it was replaced, and the module wasn't replaced, then you have to change the air bag module, or it could also be the airbag sensor that goes in the front, check if it's broken.
