Air-Water intercooler water lines routing

I wanted to make an air-to water IC with a water/ice tank in the trunk.

In my class, I am not allowed to modify any body panel or structural member, incl. the firwall.

What existing opening could I use to run - say - 2x1" diam. or a bit less water hoses?

I am using already the opening on the passenger side to run a battery cable and other instrument wires. There is no more room there.

There is a similar opening on the passenger side under the hood but no adjacent opening I could see to the cabin.

Would the A/C lines through the firewall be large enough? I still have the A/C and find it difficult to judge if the holes are large enough.

Is there any room I could run and secure such lines perhaps through the transmission/gearshift tunnel?

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,

Sandro
