Question Air pump questions

Hey all. I disconnected my air pump today for ***** and giggles, and the engine runs rich as hell at ldle. Is there any way to keep the air pump disconnected and have it lean out at idle? For now I just reconnected it for fear of flooding my motor.

If you are still running a cat and not a midpipe, you are going to have the car idle like crap, not to mention you're cat will be clogged REAL soon.

I would NOT recommend disconnecting the air pump if you are planning on keeping your hi-flo cat.

I'm going to keep the air pump hooked up, I was just wondering cuz when I do get a mid-pipe and I disconnect the air pump, how do you keep it from running rich @ idle apart from getting a fully programable ECU like the PFC?
