air pump pulley

so i recently got my car back from r &r. they did my vacume hoses, checked my turbos, and did a 600 mile engine rebuild service. i notice on the drive home from the shop wheni was stuck in traffic that the idle was a lil wierd. it rolls from about 1200 rpm to 1300 or 1400 once warmed up.it not a persistent thing but happens offten. sounds like if you were breathing a bit faster than normal. then just today /driving to my buddies place i herd some metal noise from under the car. like something came loose and fell out. same noise my friends car made whene a piece from one of his pulleys fell off. anyways so i checked it out, when you rev on letting off the pulley sticks then starts spinning again. im going to move the air box out of the way tomorrow so i can thurouly inspect it. heres the vid tell me wat you guys think of all this.

The vid does not reveal very much to be honest. You need to understand first of all that the air pump is only engaged up to 3200 rpms and then the clutch releases it. So the fact that it stops spinning when you rev the motor is not unusual. As for the idle issue, if your motor is essentially stock, then that is a fairly high idle and suggests an intake air leak of some sort. It could also be that the throttle linkage is hanging-up causing a high idle. If you have a ported motor or have done other things to alter its performance, then a higher idle can be expected. You'll need to tell us your mods.
