air leak in front of the drivers area?

Ok well ive noticed under hard accelaration I hears this wooshing noise when the car is under boost. It sounds like air is leaking. And it sounds like its right in front of me.Of course in the engine bay though. What is located directly in front of the driver that can leak boost? It seems to come on when im really on it.One thing ive noticed is when the leaking air sound starts up the cars accelaration isnt as quick and responsive. So I tried to let off the throttle a little and the sound goes away and the car pulls way harder. Its gotta be some kind of an air leak right?

Make sure your AWS hose is still firmly clamped to the intake elbow (it's located on the firewall side of the elbow right by the throttle body).

You mean the 3/4 inch hose that runs from the elbow to behind the uim and to another pipe? Ill check it out and see if thats it.Although I tighten the **** outta all of my hoses. What about the gasket or rubber seal between the intake elbow and the throttle body?

That could be bad as well. Have you actually removed all of your couplers and hoses and carefully checked for splits? Many times, you won't see the split when it's on the car.

That may be it then. A cheap and easy fix.
