Air fuel ratios

replied a few posts below!! The af wideband reading is corrected now (I just did the air Calibration on the lc1 wideband) and it made a big difference in reading! Sorry!

So I just installed a wideband. It’s an innovaone and the sensor needs to be calibrated. But it does work.. I let off in gear and the decel goes to full lean.. but idle and in boost reads really rich. It’s in the 8... or lower that’s the lowest it shows.. under boost it goes full rich too .. cruising it’s anywhere between 11-16 bounces around everywhere but the car is running decently smooth during cruise..
it has an apex power fc w stock untouched tune that came w the ecu.
car is stock except a downpipe, midpipe and air filter, hks twin power.

Apologies guys! I just set the air calibration and the wideband is reading idle at 12 pretty steady. At least on cold start up. I’ll install everything back and drive it around tmrw to get a new (accurate) reading and post back up!

A bit rich in idle and cruise but otherwise fine. Still get it tuned

Honestly that's not a bad range to start with. 11.5-12 AFR is rich yes but if you hot start it, it will be leaner. So it has margin. Same with cruising. It can be leaned a little bit. Boost AFR is 11.5 - definitely shouldn't be leaner than that for safety.

How do you lean it out on the power fc commander? I know it’s in the fuel map but I don’t know and what values to change from there.

I just want to do the idle and leave the rest alone...

Don't. If you're not sure then your best bet is to let a reputable tuner do it for you.

You can get a secondary device to act as an intermediary between the PFC and an old laptop, but I wouldn't go in there and just start changing things around. If it's a bit rich that's fine, it's far safer than being a bit too lean.
